Presentation Evening
Following the close of the football season the club's Annual Presentation Evening was held at Pendragon Primary School. We were pleased to welcome our special guest this year, Steve Fallon, manager of Blue Square Premier League side Histon, to present the trophies. He awarded trophies to all players in each of the six squads, plus trophies in the category of Players Player and Managers Player of the Year for each age group. There was a special mention for our Under 13 squad, who finished champions of their division this year, the first major trophy for any Blasters squad since the clubs formation.
Steve was also asked to present the inaugural Young Clubman of the Year Award to a very brave member of the Under 14 squad, Nick Brown. Nick was presented this special award for the tremendous bravery shown after suffering an horrific injury back in October 2008, where he broke his leg whilst representing his side. Despite nearly six months in plaster, and ongoing physiotherapy, Nick has remained positive and the club look forward to welcoming him back to his squad very soon.
This year's Clubman of the Year Award went to Eric Abrams.
The Under 11's Players Player was awarded to Jacob Hollison, and their Managers Player was Ewen Rogers.
The Managers Player for the Under 12's was Harry Ward and their Players Player was Sam Rushton.
The Under 14's Managers Player was Matthew Abraham and the Players Player was Josh Philpott
